Compared to standard glass lamps, this halogen flood lamp is better reflected and insulated, allowing it to replace higher wattage tungsten lamps while still providing similar lighting output.  This can result in significant energy savings. Arcadia Reptile wide beam Halogen Flood Lamps are powerful, robust and should be used with a suitable dimming thermostat. Designed to be energy efficient, can be used in place of 50-75 watt Tungsten flood lamps.
